• Volunteer for 2-hour shift
• 20-30 minute orientation/training
• Follow food safety and quality policies as well as FMSC safety guidelines.
• Most roles require standing for the duration of packing. (If a sitting role is required, please note this in the comment section on the volunteer signup-form or connect wioth one of the FMSC staff at the event and they will accomodate the need).

Please Note:

• Volunteers performing warehouse functions are required to wear closed toed shoes.
• Age requirements:
  • Children must be in 3rd grade and up to participate in the food packaging process.
  • Grades 3-6: 3 students to 1 adult
  • Grades 7-9: 4 students to 1 adult
  • Grades 10-12: 5 students to 1 adult
• Feed My Starving Children advises volunteers with food allergies to exercise caution when determining whether or not to participate in food packing. A complete list of ingredients in FMSC's food products is avaliable, but we cannot guarantee what environments our ingreedients were manufactured in.
