• Volunteer for 2-hour shift
• 20-30 minute orientation/training
• Follow food safety and quality policies as well as FMSC safety guidelines.
• Most roles require standing for the duration of packing. (If a sitting role is required, please make a note in the comment section on the volunteer sign-up form or connect with one of the FMSC staff at the event and they will accomodate the need).

Please Note:

• Volunteers performing warehouse functions are required to wear closed-toe shoes.
• Age requirements:
  • Children must be in 3rd grade and up to participate in the food packaging process.
  • 3-6 grade: 3 students to 1 adult
  • 7-9 grade: 4 students to 1 adult
  • 10-12 grade: 5 students to 1 adult
• Feed My Staring Children advises volunteers with food allergies to exercise caution when determining whether or not to participate in food packing. A complete list of ingredients in FMSC's food products is available, but we cannot guarantee what environments our ingredients were manufactured in. Volunteers with extreme food allergies are advised not to pack.
